Patients of Dr. Monissa Solberg Receive Knowledge and Experience

Some years back, Dr. Monissa Solberg completed a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship through UCLA, where she worked within the adult and juvenile justice system with incarcerated individuals who suffered from mental illness. From that position, she provided extensive providing psychiatric evaluations and expert witness testimony. Dr. Solberg is known for her empathetic and caring demeanor, and for happily working with patients from all sorts of backgrounds, as a way to help them achieve their treatment goals.

Of course, that is but the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Dr. Monissa Solberg’s education and training. Not unlike other practicing doctors, Dr. Solberg has a strong background that patients have come to appreciate and rely on. Of course she attended medical school, but she also subsequently completed her residency training in Adult Psychiatry at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Through UCLA, Dr. Monissa Solberg also managed to gain extensive clinical knowledge in wide variety of settings, including extensive work with underserved populations at hospitals in Los Angeles County hospitals, as well as her work with veterans at the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center. Her educational journey also included other community-based settings such as UCLA Medical Center and Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
